(04)Trust

Data you can trust.

Any app can log a time. What matters is that the record holds up in an argument.

What if someone else clocks in?
Each employee is tied to a single phone, and every clock-in is confirmed with Face ID or fingerprint.
What if they clock in from home?
No real location, no clock-in. GPS off, permission denied or approximate location: rejected.
What if they fake their GPS?
We detect mocked, imprecise or stale locations. Suspicious ones are flagged for you to review.
What if they tamper with the app?
On iPhone the server verifies it's the original app (Apple App Attest). Android is on the way.
What if they change the phone's clock?
Server time counts, not the phone's.
"My phone has no GPS"
Every time the app opens, the phone is checked and the history is kept: you can see if it worked, when it was turned off and when permission was denied.
What if they clock in at another site?
You can limit each employee to their own work locations.
What if someone "fixes" the records?
Every change is in the audit log: who, when and why. Manual entries require a reason.

No system makes cheating impossible. What we do is make it go from easy to hard — and when someone tries, it's on record.

(05)Privacy

Oversight, not surveillance.

Location is taken only at the moment of clocking in. Nothing follows you during the day.

Your fingerprint stays yours.

Fingerprints and faces never leave the phone: the system checks them and the app only gets an "OK".

It deletes itself.

Coordinates are deleted automatically after 12 months. The clock-in record is kept.

We don't look.

CARPINCHO doesn't see your employees' names or locations. Only your company and the employee do.

Security

Encrypted in transit.

The app, the dashboard and the server always talk over HTTPS.

Protected passwords.

Stored encrypted. The first password is temporary and must be changed at first sign-in.

Everyone sees their own.

Employees only sign in from the app and see their own data. The dashboard is for admins.

Doors locked.

Limited sign-in attempts with temporary lockout. Each company’s data is fully separated.

FAQ.

What is Carpincho HR?
Attendance and presence tracking from the phone. Employees clock in with fingerprint or Face ID and location, and the company sees live who's working, who's late and how many hours were worked.
Is it a payroll or HR system?
No. It does one thing and does it well: attendance. It gives you hours, overtime, late arrivals and absences in Excel, ready for your accountant or payroll system.
Do I need to buy any hardware?
No. Employees use their own phone (iPhone or Android) and you use the web dashboard. For each work location you just print a QR code.
What if someone doesn't have a phone?
A manager can record their clock-in from the dashboard, with a required reason and a record of who entered it. We're also working on clock-in terminals to install at the work site.
Will my employees be tracked?
No. Location is taken only when clocking in, just like punching a time clock. Fingerprints and faces never leave the phone.
What if someone has no signal or forgets to clock in?
No internet, no clock-in — so nobody can clock in later from somewhere else. If they forget, they request it from the app and you approve it; it's all on record.
Does it work for multiple sites or field teams?
Yes. Add each store, job site or location as a work area on the map, and limit each employee to their own locations.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many active employees you have: plans are based on headcount and all include every feature. Tell us about your team and we'll send you a price. The first 30 days are free.
What happens to my data if I stop using it?
It isn't deleted. If you reactivate, everything is right where you left it.
